For some 3 years now, myself (Andy) and my partner (Trish) have owned and run The Moorings; a self catering holiday cottage situated in the highly sought-after Woods End, Bramerton.
We pride ourselves on providing exactly what our guests desire; a private hot tub in a secluded garden, a well equipped games room and comfortable lounge with log fire, your own 8-seater day boat moored at the front of the cottage, and a pub/restaurant just a short stroll along the riverbank. With far reaching views across the River Yare to open meadows beyond, The Moorings is one of the most unique holiday cottages on the Norfolk Broads.
All this for 8 people, at a highly competitive, all-inclusive price. Often when booking via third-party agents, approx. 30% of the price you pay is absorbed by their fees; as we are totally independent, we have no commission fees to pay, allowing us to pass the savings directly on to you.

As the new name suggests, we are now “on the broads” as well. We have just acquired a ‘Classic Broads Cruiser’, which is ideal for a couple to spend a relaxing week aboard experiencing a different, picturesque location each night.
Just like our cottage, because of our independence we’ll be offering the most competitive prices and all fully inclusive of fuel, etc.
